The re-premiere of the new print of Elizabethton’s Kidnapper’s Foil took place on March 24, 2005 at the Bonnie-Kate Theater, the same theater where the original had been shown five decades earlier. A third show was added after two sold out screenings. Several of the film’s stars were in attendance. The new print was preserved by East Tennessee State University, with a grant from the National Film Preservation Foundation.
