Filmed in October 1952, the film was shown at a Christmas Eve matinee at the Kenosha Theatre. Auditions were held at Polonia Hall. An ad in the Kenosha newspaper pictures George Sanderson, who is described as the producer of the film. Ads described it as “Kenosha’s Own ‘OUR GANG’ Comedy, ‘KIDNAPPED’ with 150 Kenosha children as its stars.”
